Carnival and winter festival on the Costa Daurada

This coastal town celebrates one of the most famous Carnival festivities in all the Tarragona regions. Up to 50,000 people gather in the streets of Cunit to experience the Carnival parade, which has up to fifty troupes. The Cunit parade, for sure, does not have much to envy to the great Carnival parades of Catalonia. Una monumental desfilada de carrosses enmig d’una inacabable tempesta de confeti és l’acte central de la festa major d’hivern de Salou, que sol celebrar-se el primer dissabte del mes de febrer.
